This past week was pretty tough. One of the toughest weeks of the mission for me. Lots of our appointments fell through and lots of people rejected us in lots of different ways. We get rejected a ton here but this past week was just totally different. I still just don't understand why someone doesn't want to learn about Christ's perfect church established again on the Earth. Maybe I need to have more patience and to understand their situation more. But I still love walking around and talking to people and just testifying.
Mayra came to CHURCH!! Yesssssssssss!! We had lots of the members invite her to church and so she and her kids showed up for sacrament meeting. She said she believes the Book of Mormon is true. Once someone has that belief everything else falls into place. We meet with her more this week so we will see how that goes.
Jose, our other investigator, told me about the Kevin Durrant situation. That's kind of sad -mannnnn..I hate it when All-stars band wagon to one team. Its a much cooler story when one player can change a whole team to be a contender in the league. But oh well. Jose leaves with his girlfriend and her family this week. His girlfriend and her family are members and they leave to go to the temple in Washington D.C. and then after they are going to be going to all the Church history sites. He won't be able to go in to the Temple but it will still be a cool experiance to see the temple and all the other stuff. I feel like these things will help him with his answer.
Well Mom and Dad, thanks for the book! It got here today and I'm excited to read it.
