Hey this week was a little slow because lots of our investigators canceled our appointments because they were traveling to the states for Mothers Day. But we should be able to see them soon.
We contacted a lot this week and found a few new people. One person is named Domingo and he was really happy to see us. vHe says he recieves all the different type of chruches in his house and he understands the importance to be baptized and to go to church. He said eventually he will need to choose which one is right and be baptized in that church. I thought that was cool because he will see the difference in the message we bring compared to all the other churches. He will see that it really comes from God. That is if he keeps his commitments and prays to know if its true. He needs to do his part to recieve his answer.
Well some cool things I was studying these past couple of days. The conversion of Alma the younger. We know he was rebellious and was trying to destroy the Church of God and an angel came to him and told him to stop. What I like about this is that He saw an angel of God but he didn't know these things were true until he "fasted and prayed for many days".
He recieved his answer through fast and prayer. That shows that seeing an angel of God wasn't enough. We need to recieve our answer from God.
Mom- it was so good to see you yesterday. I hope you had a really good Mothers Day. It was fun to talk to you and see that you are doing good. I love and miss you lots and it will be a really good day when I can see you again. You are the best mother ever and I love you!!!
