Exchanges with my district leader Elder Moss
We got the transfer call yesterday and I am staying in Arroyo. My comp Elder Guare leaves to Toa Baja. My new Comp is Elder Lozano de Mexico and we are good friends so I'm excited!
So our English speaking investigators couldn't see us this past week so I was pretty sad about that but we will see them next week.
We had this meeting with President and Sister Boucher about dress changes and the sisters have to wear pants! Hahahaha that is just so weird!! AND we get to wear Sunglasses now!! I will be rockin my Electrics..the best brand ever. We also get to wear hats too. I will only get one as a joke but we will look pretty different walking around. But its all good - the message that we share is true.
We found these two guys named Fher and Rey. Rey wasnt there but Fher was. We go into his house and before we started the lesson the mom came storming in and was wondering why we were there. We told her that her son was interested in the message that we share and then she stormed off to another room and came back saying that they were Methodist and that they won't change. She wanted us to leave but we asked if she ever heard our message or have visited the church and she said no. So we taught the message briefly and testified that God's kingdom has been restored again to the earth with the same organization of Prophets, Apostles, The Seventy, The Authority of God and Revelation. It was cool because she wanted us to leave but after we spoke with her she wanted to read the Restoration Pamphlet. If she really has the desire to know she will receive her answer from God.
