Visiting with Victor Felix's mother
Hey!! So its down to my last 6 weeks in the mission and thats so insane!! I'll make them good! Me and Elder Reyes stay comps and we will be in a Trio. Elder Rodriguez will come to be with us. He is cool. He's from the DR.
Well this past week we found some cool people. They just seemed prepared to receive us and they were really cool with us. We go see them this week. Its gonna be wierd to have three elders at once teaching a lesson but it will be fun.
Well we had a really cool Zone Conference with the President. He taught us in English for some reason! He goes home with me so I think he is just tired of speaking Spanish- hahaha!! But he talked about how God has always been a planner and how it wasn't a coincidence that the Church was restored when it was. So when people ask why did God wait all this time to restore his church its pretty clear that the only time the church could have survived on the Earth was when the USA declared Independacne and Freedom of Religion was accepted. Then a few years after that Joseph Smith was born...so it was all planned in its perfect timing.
We also had a special meeting where a few elders in the mission were invited to go to it and we listneded to Elder Brian K. Ashton and his wife. Also to Elder Gonzalez the Area 70 with his wife. Sister Ashton spoke about the Holy Ghost and Elder Ashton spoke about how Repentance and Baptism should be taught together and not separate. Because once they learn that they need to repent they will also learn that part of the process is Baptism.
Ok well thats sick how the Jazz won by double digits in LA! Next up Golden State..I just hope they don't get SWEPT! haha
