This week has been a crazy one!
First off - I have a new companion named Elder Aguilar. He is from Guatemala and he is pretty cool. My area is called San Barnabe Estaka Solidaridad. Our first couple of days we received 11 new investigators! That is so crazy! We have been working with them a lot.
This is funny — one family who is investigating the church have two daughters that are 21 and 16. When we came back the next day the Mom said that the girls are so in love with me. It’s an American thing - and because I have blue eyes but its kind of creepy. But I told them how important it is to attend church and they said they would come on Sunday. I even had them write it down. Sunday comes and we waited, and waited and they didn’t show up. Later that day I went to their house and said, “OH WOW you broke my heart!!” Haha!! They were sad and I said, “I’ll only forgive you if you come to church next Sunday!”
I have had so many kids come up and try to speak English to me but I say I can’t speak English - I am from Argentina! Alot of drunk people come up to me and say “HEY AMERICAN - we’re glad your here!” I laugh and give them a card.
GUESS WHAT?? I had my first Nacho Libre Corn and its da beeest!! They are called Elotes!
Until next week amigos!!
