Mom and dad-
This week was pretty crazy. My house is full of cockroahces and spiders its unimaginable! The're in my fridge, in my bed, everywhere! Now we are about to move houses that a member is renting. It will have air conditioning, a washing machine, and very clean and free of bugs...well almost. You can never say free of bugs in Mexico!
We were praying that we can go to the right door at the right time. First door we knocked on a lady was crying and told us that she has a lot of problems and is wondering if God exists - and then we knocked on her door! We started teaching why we have problems and why we are here on earth. We started with the example of JOB in the Bible then headed into the Book of Mormon and she just said, "NO! Only the bible!" Well.. this is another book of Jesus Christ... she said "NO"! I was like well - do you want help with your problems? Because this book can change lives. I bore my testimmony of the book and of the gospel but she did not accept it. More than anything I just felt good after! I felt good that I can say that this is true! I didn't feel mad or bugged- I just felt good!
The progress with Jesus, our 9 year old investigator, is going super well. We finished the plan of salvation. He taught his whole family! I told him he is going to be a better missionary than me. He laughed! On Sunday I was so worried and frustrated because his mom would not answer her phone. Later they were not on time for church and I was getting so stressed. I was so sad because they didn't come. Then out of the blue they start walking in with smiles on their faces. I just looked at my companion just so relieved and exhausted!
GHOST BUSTERS: Well - this Saturday we walked into a members house to eat but I felt really weird like I was weak. My comp just was acting weird during our eating appointment. After dinner the member asked if I can give her a blessing and a blessing of the house. I was like why? She said that she feels a dark presence and that she and her whole family have been having dreams of this evil spirit and that they found bones in their backyard! (I was so pumped!! I've been waiting for this my whole life!!) Me and my comp went to do a prayer for me so I can do the blessing. Before the blessing I was so weak and I felt something was impeding me to speak. I gave the house a blessing and asked for evil spirits to leave our presence. Then we had to go where the bones were at to bless the house. We got there and it got heavier and heavier. I was sweating like crazy and all of a sudden during the prayer the dogs started barking frantically so loud! After we said amen it all stopped! THAT WAS SICK!!!!
I'm glad your guys had fun camping and I hope the fishing was good! Thank you for everything! I love you so much!
