Mom and Dad,
Well this week was smokin fast! BUT FIRST - I just need to tell you this - and its super crazy! A girl came up to me and I was going to shake her hand - she did shake my hand but all of a sudden like a lightning bolt she gave me a kiss. A KISS!!!! Whaaat??? She just walked away and my companion was laughing SO hard. I was just in shock - sweating and shaking. It had to have been a dare - but ya - there's a story for you.
This week was very spiritual for me. I just felt guided to people's houses that needed the gospel! They were mostly members and less active houses. I always love putting the Book of Mormon to the test. I ask these people what question they have and with their faith open to a random page and start reading until you find your answer. During these times I would feel the spirit so strong that I had no doubt that they would not find an answer! Every time we did this activity they found their answer. Its a testimony I have now that this book is real, its powerful, and most importantly its TRUE and IS the Word of God and ANOTHER TESTAMENT of Jesus Christ!
Daniel Silva my convert passed the sacrament on Sunday. He looked happy and was smiling the whole time! He looks like a hard core dude but on the indside he is just a happy dude!
Monterrey's soccer team was in the finals so everyone outside had their beer, carne asada, TVs, loud terrible mexican music! I hardly slept. Whenever you heard "Goal" the whole city goes NUTS! Its pretty amazing! BUT they lost in the last 30 seconds I guess.
I'm not really progressing with my spanish as I was hoping but I'm still trying my hardest! Its pretty easy to understand but talking is so hard for me. Please pray for me to have more confidence with the language.
How was the camping trip? Sounds like you had alot of fun! I miss fly fishing so much. How is JOVI? I need her protection from all these dogs here- hahaha!!
