Dear Mom, Dad and Sydney -
This week was very difficult. My area is a baptizing area but I feel like I can't find anyone else to teach. All of our plans are getting ruined and its so hard to find new investigators. It is very discouraging but hey - this is the mission life and we will find the chosen one! Another thing that was sad was that our investigator that was baptized last week was supposed to be confirmed - and he was SO READY. He got a call that his mother fell and broker her back so had could not come to church. I feel bad but theres always next week! I decided to stop by his house to see if everything is alright and it looks like he will be busy with his mom this whole week. We said a prayer for his mom and he thanked us for coming over! I told him to not worry about coming to church - the last thing I want is for him to feel like we are mad that he is not coming to church. I really don't like pressuring people and making them feel uncomfortable so I made sure he knew we loved him and we were on his side.
One day this week it was raining so so hard and I was soaking wet!! We sat under this house waiting for it to stop and then finally someone shouted for us to come in! They dried our clothes as we talked and waited for the storm to pass. It was a great family! We shared the gospel with them and sang hymns. It was a great time!
I still don't have my package and don't know when I'll get it! I can't believe its almost Mothers day and transfers are next week! I will be finding out who my next companion is - that will be interesting!
