This week was great! We worked SUPER HARD with members and trying to find people to teach. I had divisions with the Zone leaders and I got to ride bikes - it was SICK! I did some sweet tricks too. I learned a ton about the importance of inviting people to baptism the first lesson. Its important because we have more than a beautiful message to share. We have an ordinance that is more important that we would like to prepare people to accept and be baptized! Its easier to find the chosen people that WILL accept this invitation than other investigators that are just here to listen to a cute message - haha!
WHOA!!! WE'RE HALFWAY THERE -- WHOOOOAAAA!! LIVIN' ON A PRAYER!!
On FRIDAY I hit ONE YEAR! I can't believe it! I was reading my journal that day and was thinking of the huge step I took and the huge change I have had in all aspects of the mission! I remember that day when Jeff Loosli gave me that invitation to "burn my boat" and ever since that day I have changed into a missionary I didn't know I could be! I'm still not perfect and I never will be! I learned to trust the Savior. I try to wear Aunt Janette's shirt every P- day to remind myself that I can fight to the finish! I'm truly thankful for the support that I have received. Without it I don't know where I would be! Oh - and also I burned my shirt and ate campechanas and a Coka to celebrate!!
Sunday was great! A. came to church and also learned a ton from our Stake Presidency! They taught about the purpose of God's plan. Everything we do must be learned in the home and in the church! That is when we will be a successful family progressing to Eternal Life.
I love you so much!! And don't have too much fun at the Guns and Roses concert! I'm so jealous! SWEET CHILD OF MINE!!
Only ONE YEAR left - peace out!
